KRIFIX 2K

KRIFIX 2K is a two component flexible acrylic based cementitious membrane waterproof coating system. It is composed of acrylic emulsion polymer as a binder and best quality Portland cement mixed with properly selected and graded aggregates and additives. It is specifically designed for achieving excellent waterproofing of wet areas, washrooms, chajjas & parapet walls, water tanks, terraces etc. KRIFIX 2K coating delays the carbonation process for concrete.

Scope to Use

It can be applied on balconies and terraces (Including cantilevered types), permanent & temporary wet rooms, bathrooms, showers, swimming pools.
On walls and floors as a waterproofing layer and underneath coverings.
It can also be used as a waterproofing and concrete protection.

Method of Application

Place the liquid part in the vessel, and then slowly add the powder part & mix it using the slow speed mechanical mixer.
Mixing should be done un l a smooth and homogeneous slurry without any lumps is achieved and allow it to settle for couple of minutes and then it shall be ready for use.
The first coat shall be applied in one direction and the second in perpendicular direction of the first coat.
Minimum interval of 5 to 6 hours is recommended between two coats, subject to humidity and site condi ons.
It is suggested to air cure for 7 days before ponding test
